Líneas de investigación

Estoy interesado en el estudio de la alteración del ciclo de los nutrientes (N y P) y en las relaciones existentes entre prácticas agrícolas, productividad y contaminación. Estudio el sistema agroalimentario incluyendo la eficiencia del uso de los nutrientes en sistemas de cultivo y ganaderos, el comercio internacional, la dieta humana y su relación con las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero y exceso de nutrientes o a escala de cuenca, regional, nacional y global incluyendo las tendencias pasadas y el desarrollo de escenarios alternativos. Estoy particularmente interesado en el estudio de los agrosistemas mediterráneos y en el desarrollo de estrategias de mitigación de la contaminación integradas, sostenibles y eficientes.
