Last Friday was held in the CEIGRAM the seminar on «Research and development of novel technologies for the economic conversion of typha biomass into biogas and animal feed in Northern Nigeria», within the framework of the Typha Project, coordinated by the researchers of CEIGRAM Eva Iglesias and Fernando Escribano, and which seeks to promote cooperation in research between the EU, EE. UU and Africa, in order to facilitate the transfer of knowledge and technology to promote agricultural development in African countries.

The seminar, given by the CEIGRAM researcher Fernando Escribano, was attended by CEIGRAM researchers, researchers from the CBGP (Centre for Plant Biotechnology and Genomics), students and people interested in the project. In addition, the seminar was attended by Mr. Isa Ahmed, representative of the Nigerian Embassy in Spain.
