The CEIGRAM is based in the building of the Department of Plant Production: Phytotechnics of the UPM’s Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Agrónomos of Madrid, located in its Internship Campus – Southern Section – Ciudad Universitaria, Madrid. It has a total area of approximately 500 m² distributed in several offices and common area for researchers in training. It has a total capacity for 35 jobs.
Additionally, CEIGRAM has various R & T services, IP telephony (24 lines), two servers, 6-band video conferencing equipment, e-beam electronic whiteboard, 58 computers (desktop and labtop), 19 printers, photography equipment, video and high resolution projection; a diverse collection of scientific software: STATA, @RISK, GAMS, SURFER, SYSTAT, MATLAB, LABVIEW, ArcView Node Master, ArcGIS Spatial Analyst Master, HyperBUNDLE, HyperRESEARCH, VisualBasic 7 and Statgraph, among others.
In addition, it has two micro-meteorological stations for the estimation of evapotranspiration using the Surface Renewal technique and a micro-meteorological station for evapotranspiration calculations using the Eddy Covariance technique, an ultraviolet spectrophotometer for the analysis of the phenolic composition, musts and wines, a centrifuge for the analysis of the must and a stove to analyze the losses of weight of dry matter (branches, leaves, bunches and bunches) for the studies referred to the different farms under the CENIT project.
CEIGRAM members, that develop their research activity in experimental areas, have the necessary field and laboratory instrumentation to carry out their work.
